Bio
In '55 I met Clem DeRosa who introduced me to the world of big band music. Went to North Texas State Univ. in '61 played in the famous 1:00 Lab Band for several years. Joined the Stan Kenton Orchestra in 1968. Did one US tour with him. Joined the Ray Charles Orchestra in 1969. Did 2 world tours with him. Came back to NY in 1971 where I became active in the "scene" which included Latin bands, jingle recording, recording dates, shows of every variety, Broadway shows including Dreamgirls and Starlight Express. Also became a member of the Westbury Music Fair house band where we played for every known entertainer of the time. After a decade being a professional chef, I returned to a playing music again in 2009. Met Arthur (I can't remember when) and worked with him on the American Song project.

I’m constantly amazed at the level of creativity and professionalism from Arthur as well as every person he employs to perform these works not to mention the fact that he is among my very closest friends. Being involved in any of these projects has been a very gratifying experience and has afforded me the opportunity to do things I would never have imagined doing at all.
